Meetings for 2026
Public Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Borough of New Hope, Bucks County, PA, and the Borough’s municipal boards, commissions and committees, will hold public meetings in 2026 as follows:
Borough Council
Regular meetings will be at 6:30 pm on the third Tuesday of each month at the New Hope Community Room, located at 125 New Street, in New Hope. If the Borough Council meeting falls on or before the Pennsylvania Primary Election Day or Election Day, the Council meeting will be scheduled on the next day.
The Reorganization Meeting and the Monthly Workshops will be at 6:00 pm every first Monday of each month at the New Hope Community Room located at 125 New Street in New Hope. If the first Monday falls on a holiday, the workshop will be scheduled for the next day after the holiday at 6:00 pm. If the Workshop meeting falls on or before the Pennsylvania Primary Election Day or Election Day, the workshop will be scheduled on the next day.
Executive Sessions will be held before or after the Regular meeting or Workshop meeting at the call of Council President to be held at Borough Hall, located at 123 New Street in New Hope.
Civil Service Commission
Will meet at the call of the Chairperson, as advertised, at Borough Hall, located at 123 New Street in New Hope.
The Planning Commission
6:30 pm on the third Monday of each month at the New Hope Community Room, located at 125 New Street, in New Hope. If the third Monday falls on a holiday or the day before the Pennsylvania Primary Election Day, the meeting will be scheduled for the Thursday immediately following the holiday or Election Day.
The Planning Commission – Comprehensive Plan
6:30 pm on the second Monday of each month at the New Hope Community Room, located at 125 New Street, in New
Hope. If the second Monday falls on a holiday or the day before the Pennsylvania Primary Election Day, the meeting will be scheduled for the Thursday immediately following the holiday or Election Day.
The Historic Architectural Review Board (HARB)
6:00 pm on the first Tuesday of each month, at the New Hope Community Room, located at 125 New Street in New Hope. If the first Tuesday of the month falls on a holiday, the day after a holiday, or Election Day or Borough Council Reorganization, the meeting will be scheduled for the next day. For the month of November, 2026, the HARB meeting will be scheduled on the first Thursday.
The Park & Recreation Board
7:00 pm on the fourth Monday of each month at Borough Hall, located at 123 New Street in New Hope. If the fourth
Monday of the month falls on a holiday or before the Pennsylvania Primary Election Day or Election Day, the meeting will be scheduled for the fourth Wednesday. For the month of May, 2026, the meeting will be scheduled on the fourth Thursday.
The Shade Tree Commission
6:00 PM on the third Wednesday of January, February, October thru December and 6:30 pm on the third Wednesday of March thru September, at Borough Hall, located at 123 New Street in New Hope. If the Pennsylvania Primary Election Day or Election Day, falls on the third Tuesday, the meeting will be scheduled on the following Wednesday.
The Environmental Advisory Council
6:30 pm on the first Wednesday of each month at Borough Hall, located at 123 New Street in New Hope. If the first Wednesday of the month falls on a holiday, or the first Monday of the month falls on a holiday or the day after the Pennsylvania Primary Election Day or Election Day, the meeting will be scheduled for the second Wednesday.
The Zoning Hearing Board
Will meet at the New Hope Community Room, located at 125 New Street in New Hope, and will meet at the call of the Chairperson, as advertised.
The Uniform Construction Code Board of Appeals
Will meet at Borough Hall, located at 123 New Street, at the call of the Chairperson, as advertised.
The Human Relations Commission
Will meet at Borough Hall, located at 123 New Street, at the call of the Chairperson, as advertised.
