Interested Contractors may examine or obtain a copy of the Contract Documents during normal working hours at the LOWER MORELAND Municipal Building, 640 Red Lion Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. The fee for a copy of the contract documents is $50.00. A Mandatory Pre-bid meeting will be held in the municipal building at 640 Red Lion Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006 on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 10:00am. The work will include the demolition and removal of existing homes as well as accessory structures. Sealed bids will be received by the Township Manager until 10:00 am, Monday, July 13, 2026, in the Municipal Building at 640 Red Lion Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Bids will be opened on the same day, same location at approximately 10:05 am. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall be marked clearly as follows: Sealed Bid - Proposal for Fet-tersmill Firehouse Demolition of Existing Land Improvements. Requirements for a 10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, and 100% Payment Bond are included in the contract documents. Prevailing state wage rates and Public Works Employment Verification Act will apply on this project. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders.
