LOWER MORELAND TOWNSHIP 640 RED LION ROAD HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA 19006   Advertisement for Bids   The Lower Moreland Township Board Of Commissioners will receive sealed bids for its 2026 BYBERRY ROAD SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT. Interested Contractors may examine or obtain a copy of the Contract Documents during normal working hours at the LOWER MORELAND Municipal Building, 640 Red Lion Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. The fee for a copy of the contract documents is $50.00. A Mandatory Pre-bid meeting will be held in the municipal building at 640 Red Lion Road Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006 on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 11:00am. The work will consist of the furnishing off all labor, materials, transportation, tools, supplies and equipment necessary for all work to install sidewalk and ADA ramps, including mobilization; traffic control and maintenance; tree/ brush removal; E&S Controls; final grading, raking and seeding; pavement markings; block retaining wall; driveway grade adjustment and repaving; adjustment to electrical box; water meter rim MH adjustment; remove and dispose of existing 4’ sidewalk, and relocate existing lamp post. Sealed bids will be received by the Township Manager until Monday, July 13, 2026, at 10:30 am, in the Municipal Building at 640 Red Lion Road Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Bids will be opened on the same day, same location at approximately 10:05 am. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall be marked clearly as follows: Sealed Bid - Proposal for 2026 BYBERRY ROAD SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT. Requirements for a 10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, and 100% Payment Bond are included in the contract documents. Prevailing state wage rates and Public Works Employment Verification Act will apply on this project. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders. The Township of Lower Moreland Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to make such award as appears most advantageous to the Township.
