LEGAL NOTICE Sealed bids will be received by the Office of the Treasurer, R.G. Drage Career Technical Center, 2800 Richville Drive SW, Massillon, Ohio 44646-9480 until 12:00 pm, local time, on Friday, April 17th, 2026, for the R.G. Drage Career Technical Center – 2026 Capital Improvements in accordance with the Drawings & Specifications prepared by SōL Harris/Day Architecture, 6677 Frank Ave. NW, North Canton OH 44720 (Tel: 330-493-3722); Contact: Lee-Matthew G. King; lking@solharrisday.com. Bids will be opened and read after receipt. Any bid received after this time will be returned unopened. The complete legal notice will be posted on the District's web site, www.rgdrage.org...go to the District home page and under About Us_News and Announcements look for the project name and click on the Legal Notice PDF document. A pre-bid conference will be held at R.G. Drage Career Technical Center, meet at the Main Entrance Lobby (located at the West main entrance door) at the above referenced address, at 9:00 am local time on Thursday, April 2nd, 2026. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Contract Documents may be obtained from AA Blueprint 2757 Gilchrist Road, Akron OH 44305, Tel: 800-821-3700, www.aablueprint.com. The cost for the contract documents plus shipping will be the responsibility of the Contractor. The Contract Documents may be reviewed without charge during business hours at Builder's Exchange of East Central Ohio 5377 Lauby Road North Canton, Ohio 44720; or at SōL Harris/Day Architecture, Inc. 6677 Frank Ave. NW North Canton, Ohio 44720. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid (including all add alternates) or a certified check, cashier's check, or an irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid (including all add alternates), as described in the Instructions to Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw its bid within 60 days after the bid opening. The District reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, to reject any or all bids, and to conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the responsibility of a bidder.
