TOWN OF TUXEDO NOTICE OF HEARING INTRODUCTORY LOCAL LAW TAX LEVY LIMIT OVERRIDE/2026 FISCAL YEAR PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that there has been introduced before the Town Board of the Town of Tuxedo, New York, on October 8, 2025, a local law, titled “Tax Levy Limit Override/2026 Fiscal Year,” which local law would authorize the Town Board to adopt a budget for the 2026 fiscal year that requires a real property tax levy in excess of the limit prescribed by State law. A complete copy of the Introductory Local Law is available for inspection at the Clerk’s office. NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to Section 20 of the Municipal Home Rule Law, the Town Board of the Town of Tuxedo, New York, will hold a public hearing on the aforesaid Local Law on October 22, 2025, at 7:00 P.M. or soon thereafter, at the Town Hall, 1 Temple Drive, Tuxedo, New York, 10987 at which time all persons interested therein shall be heard.
