TOWN OF TUXEDO NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING   PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Tuxedo will hold a Public Hearing on March 25, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at Town Hall, 1 Temple Dr., Tuxedo, New York, to consider the adoption of an Introductory Local Law entitled: “A Local Law Authorizing a Partial Real Property Tax Exemption for Surviving Spouses of Police Officers Killed in the Line of Duty.” The purpose of the proposed Local Law is to authorize, pursuant to the New York State Real Property Tax Law, a partial exemption from Town real property taxes for qualifying surviving spouses of police officers who were killed in the line of duty. A copy of the proposed Local Law is on file in the Office of the Town Clerk and is available for public inspection during normal business hours and on the Town’s website at www.tuxedogov.org. All interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard at the time and place aforesaid. The Town will make every effort to assure that the Hearing is accessible to persons with disabilities.
