BOARD OF HEALTH TOWNSHIP OF MENDHAM MORRIS COUNTY – NEW JERSEY JANUARY 27, 2026 RESOLUTION BOH R26-1 RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF HEALTH OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MENDHAM IN THE COUNTY OF MORRIS, NEW JERSEY, DESIGNATING NEWSPAPERS AND FIXING CHARGES FOR NOTICES OF PUBLIC MEETINGS OF SAID BOARD OF HEALTH DURING 2026 AND JANUARY 2027. __________________________________ WHEREAS, the “Open Public Meetings Act” R.S. 10:4-6 and following, requires that notification be given of meetings of public bodies as therein defined and in the manner therein set forth, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Health of the Township of Mendham in the County of Morris, New Jersey, as follows: 1. The Morris County’s Daily Record is hereby designated for the calendar year 2026 as the newspaper to receive notice of meetings of the Board of Health as required by any and all sections of the Open Public Meetings Act, it appearing that this newspaper is most likely to inform the local public of such meeting. 2. The Observer Tribune is hereby designated as the second newspaper to receive notice of meetings of the Board of Health as required by any and all sections of the Open Public Meetings Act, it appearing that this newspaper is most likely to inform the local public of such meeting. 3. The public place for the posting of notices of meetings of the Board of Health for the calendar year of 2026 shall be on the bulletin board in the Mendham Township Municipal Building at 2 West Main Street, Brookside, NJ 07926. 4. The attached schedule of regular meetings of the Board of Health of the Township of Mendham shall constitute the official regular meeting schedule for the year 2026 and January of 2027. 5. The sum of $10.00 is hereby fixed to be paid by any person requesting that notices of meetings of the Board of Health during the calendar year of 2026 and January 2027 be mailed to such person as specified in R.S. 40:4-19, provided, however, that no charge shall be made to any newspaper requesting the mailing notices to its business office. 6. Certified copies of this Resolution shall be mailed by the Secretary of the Board of Health to the Morris County Daily Record and the Observer Tribune, and a certified copy shall be filed with the Clerk of the Township of Mendham.
