PUBLIC NOTICE CITY OF MONTGOMERY   On Wednesday, January 7, 2025, the City of Montgomery will sponsor a public community meeting. The meeting will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the old fire station at the intersection of Mobile and Goldthwaite Streets (400 Mobile St, Montgomery, AL 36104). The community meeting will address the City of Montgomery’s intent to apply for an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Brownfields Cleanup Grant which will fund cleanup activities on the following city-owned parcels: • 605 Day Street (parcel #11-06-13-2-020-001-000); • 582 Grady Street (parcel #11-06-13-2-012-010-000); • 533 Mobile Street (parcel #11-06-13-02-011-002.000); and • a group of 11 parcels along Mobile Street, bordered by Mildred Street to the north and Vandiver Alley to the south (parcel #s 11- 06-13-2-012-002.000, 11-06-13-2-012-003.000, 11-06-13-2-012-004.000, 11-06-13-2-012-005.000, 11-06-13-2-012-006.000, 11-06-13-2-012-007.000, 11-06-13-2-012-008.000, 11-06-13-2-012-037.000, 11-06-13-2-012-036.000, 11-06-13-2-012-035.000, and 11-06-13-2-012-033.000) Written or verbal comments will be accepted and noted at the community meeting.
