NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING   Marbury Water System will host a public meeting on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 5:15 P.M., at the Marbury Water System office located at 3056 Hwy 143, Marbury, AL 36051. The public meeting will be held to provide detailed project information and receive public comments regarding the next phase of Marbury Water System’s Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) Drinking Water State Revolving Fund. The current project DWSRF No. FS010006-02 will soon be completed. This public hearing is for a DWSRF Supplemental Application to ADEM. The proposed project includes the development of identified groundwater sources into permanent public drinking water supply wells, construction of well pumping facilities, treatment equipment necessary to address naturally occurring groundwater constituents, site improvements, electrical and SCADA systems, transmission piping, and related infrastructure required to place the new water sources into service. The Environmental Information Document (EID) describing the project in detail is available for public viewing during regular business hours of Monday – Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at Marbury Water System’s office, located at 3056 Hwy 143, Marbury, AL 36051.
