At the regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Montgomery on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Auditorium in City Hall, at 103 North Perry Street, a public hearing will be held for consideration of the following items:
9395 NORTH RIPLEY STREET Request final approval of Alabama State Housing Parking Deck Plat No. 1 located on the west side of North Ripley Street, approximately 300 ft. south of Monroe Street, in a T5 (Urban Center) Zoning District.
9400 ATLANTA HIGHWAY Request final approval of Hawthorne Phase 1 Plat No. 1 located on the north side of Atlanta Highway, approximately 1,000 ft. east of Oldfield Drive, in a PUD (Planned Unit Development) Zoning District.
RZ-2026-009 MOBILE HIGHWAY Request recommendation for approval to rezone property containing 13.293 acres (+/-) located on the west side of Mobile Highway, approximately 9,900 ft. north of Wasden Road, from an AGR-1 (Residential Agriculture) Zoning District to an M-1 (Light Industrial) Zoning District.
9401 TAYLOR ROAD Request final approval of Silver Oaks Plat No. 1 located on the east side of Taylor Road, approximately 300 ft. north of Shelby Way, in an R-50 (Single-Family Residential) Zoning District.
9402 ATLANTA HIGHWAY Request final approval of Ansonborough Plat No. 1 located on the north side of Atlanta Highway, approximately 600 ft. east of Stoneybrooke Way, in a PUD (Planned Unit Development) Zoning District.
9399 COCA COLA ROAD Request final approval of Southlawn DS Plat No. 1 located on the north side of Coca Cola Road, approximately 1,200 ft. east of Mobile Highway, in an M-1 (Light Industry) Zoning District.
DP-2026-004 ATLANTA HIGHWAY Public hearing for a development plan for a new building to be located at Southwest corner of Atlanta Highway and South Arrowhead Drive in a B-3 (Commercial) Zoning District.
MP-2020-003 CHESIRE DRIVE Request approval of a revised plan for the property located at the north end of Chesire Drive and Chesire Way, changing townhouse lots to single-family residential lots, in a PUD (Planned Unit Development) Zoning District.
9397 CHESIRE DRIVE Request final approval of Somerhill Plat No. 13 located at the northern end of Chesire Way and Chesire Drive in a PUD (Planned Unit Development) Zoning District.
DP-2012-021 PERIMETER PARKWAY Public hearing for a development plan for a new building to be located at 6175 Perimeter Parkway in a M-1 (Light Industry) Zoning District.
RZ-2026-005 DAY STREET Request recommendation for approval to rezone property on the northwest corner of Day Street and Old Thorington Road (aka 3720 Day Street) from a B-2 (Commercial) Zoning District to a B-1-a (Central Business) Zoning District.
RZ-2026-006 SOUTH PERRY STREET Request recommendation for approval to rezone property located on the southwest corner of South Perry Street and West Hannon Street (aka 1000 South Perry Street) from an O-1 (Office) Zoning District to an R-60-d (Duplex Residential) Zoning District.
RZ-2026-007 OATS DRIVE Request recommendation for approval to rezone property located at the eastern end of Oats Drive (aka 6820 Oats Drive) from a B-2 (Commercial) Zoning District to an M-1 (Light Industry) Zoning District.
RZ-2026-008 NORMAN BRIDGE ROAD Request recommendation for approval to rezone property containing 913.374 acres (+/-) located approximately 800 ft. west of Norman Bridge Road and approximately 1-mile south of Hyundai Boulevard from an AGR-1 (Residential Agriculture) Zoning District to an M-1 (Light Industry) Zoning District.
RZ-2026-010 ATLANTA HIGHWAY Request recommendation for approval to rezone property one (1) lot located approximately 1,000 ft. north of Atlanta Highway and approximately 700 ft. west of Wares Ferry Road (aka 176 Travel Trail) from an M-1-Q (Light Industry-Qualified) Zoning District to an R-125 (Single-Family Residential) Zoning District.
