NORTH SHORE WATER COMMISSION REQUEST FOR BIDS NORTH SHORE WATER COMMISSION 2026 WATER PLANT ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT The North Shore Water Commission is soliciting qualified bids for the replacement of the roof at the Water Filtration Plant, 400 West Bender Rd, Glendale, WI 53217. In order to be considered, Bids, on forms included with the bid documents must be received in sealed envelopes with 5% Bid Bond no later than 1:00 PM on February 3rd, 2026 to the North Shore Water Commission Filtration Plant, 400 West Bender Road, Glendale, WI 53217 The Project includes replacement of approximately 17,000 square feet of existing EPDM Roofing with a new hot applied, asphalt built up roofing system. Additionally, 6,700 square feet of asphalt roofing with with adhered PVC roofing systems. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Thursday, January 22nd, 2026 commencing at 1:00 PM in the main lobby of the North Shore Water Commission Filtration Plant. Potential bidders must have a representative in attendance in order for their bid to receive consideration. Interested parties may obtain specifications and bidding documents after their attendance at the mandatory Pre-Bid Conference in hard copy and electronically. All bidders must have on file a current Bidders Proof of Responsibility form not less than 5 days preceding the bid due date. Forms are included with the bid project specifications package that will be available after the Pre-Bid Conference. Attention of bidders is also called to the fact that the successful bidder must insure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, sex, religion or national origin. All proposals received become the property of North Shore Water Commission and must remain in effect not less than Forty-Five (45) days beyond the proposal submission deadline. Proposals submitted may be withdrawn up and until the proposal deadline. The North Shore Water Commission reserves the right to reject any proposals received, cancel this solicitation, waive any informality associated with the proposal process and award the contract deemed to be in the best interest of North Shore Water Commission.
