School District of South Milwaukee Minutes of Special Board Meeting December 17, 2025 II. The school board meeting was called to order in open session at 6:00 p.m. III. Roll call indicated all were present with the exception of Mr. Hintz who arrived at 6:41 p.m. and Ms. Williams who arrived at 6:50 p.m. IV. Public Hearing Related to Initial Resolution Authorizing General Obligation Bonds in an Amount Not to exceed $10,000,000 to acquire and improve the Community Recreation Center. The School Board and public were provided with a presentation related to the concept of a Community Recreation Center, how the debt of $10,000,000 would be acquired, and the next steps in the process. It was shared that the Community Recreation Center is not finalized and that there are still several steps to take prior to a potential purchase of the building. V. Public comments related to the potential Community Recreation Center Members of the public spoke to share their thoughts related to the project VI. Final statements regarding the potential Community Recreation Center Board members and administration answered some questions that arose during the public comments portion of this meeting VII. Closed session - none. VIII. Adjournment - the meeting adjourned at 8:52 p.m. subject to the call of the President. IX.
