Condensed Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Common Council of the City of Cudahy, held at the Cudahy Municipal Building, 5050 S. Lake Dr., Milwaukee County, Wisconsin –
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2026
ROLL CALL
Mayor Jankowski called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. The following answered, "present" to the roll call: Council Members Haines, Loferski and St. Marie-Boelkow. Council Members Levy and Phillips were absent and excused. City Attorney Larson, City Administrator Larson, Police Chief Andrews, Fire Chief Bloor, Engineer Supervisor Schultz, Clerk/Treasurer Sobieski, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Venancio-Leonard were also in attendance.
APPROVED:
1. Amended Minutes of the Claims Committee meeting held September 12, 2025.
2. Minutes of the Regular Common Council meeting held January 20, 2026.
3. Various Mayor's appointments to Boards, Commissions and Committees.
4. Ordinance No. 2566- An Ordinance to Repeal and Recreate Sec. 44-501 of the City of Cudahy Zoning Code Regarding Permitted Uses in the M-1 Limited Manufacturing District.
5. Ordinance No. 2567- An Ordinance to Repeal and Recreate Sections 4-1(f) and 4-3 of the City of Cudahy Municipal Code Relating to Emotional Support Animals.
6. Ordinance No. 2568- An Ordinance to Create Sections of the City of Cudahy Municipal Code Relating to the Use of Motor Vehicles in the Parks and Park Hours within the City of Cudahy.
7. Ordinance No. 2375.15- An Ordinance Fixing the Salary and Fringe Benefits of the Police Chief in the City of Cudahy Police Department for 2026.
8. Ordinance No. 2377.10- An Ordinance Fixing the Salary and Fringe Benefits of the Captain of Police in the City of Cudahy Police Department Commencing January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026.
9. Ordinance No. 2520.4- An Ordinance Fixing the Salary and Fringe Benefits of the Lieutenant of Police in the City of Cudahy Police Department Commencing January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026.
10. Ordinance No. 2306.13- An Ordinance Fixing the Wages, Salaries, and Fringe Benefits of the City of Cudahy Police Department Command Officers Commencing January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026.
11. Ordinance No. 2376.13- An Ordinance Fixing the Salary and Fringe Benefits of the Fire Chief in the City of Cudahy Fire Department for 2026.
12. Ordinance No. 2312.13- An Ordinance Fixing the Salary and Fringe Benefits for the Department Battalion Chief in the City of Cudahy Fire Department Commencing January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026.
13. Ordinance No. 2373.27- An Ordinance Fixing the Salaries and Providing Fringe Benefits for Department Heads of the City of Cudahy for 2026.
14. Ordinance No. 2374.38- An Ordinance Fixing the Salaries of Certain Non-Union Employees of the City of Cudahy for 2026.
15. Resolution No. 7598- A Resolution Supporting Vision Zero and Adopting the Vision Zero Goal of Zero Traffic Related Deaths or Serious Injuries in Cudahy by 2037.
