Electronic bids will be accepted until 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 28, 2026. After the official Bid closing time, the Bids will be opened, reviewed and posted on the QuestCDN.com website. All Contractors bidding on this project shall be prequalified to perform work on Wisconsin DOT projects. Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check made payable to the Village of West Milwaukee in an amount of 5 percent (5%) of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within 10 days after the Award, the Check or Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the Village as liquidated damages. Bids shall be submitted on the bid form provided and all blanks must be filled in for the bid to be accepted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time or changes in the Work and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and the right to accept the Bid and Bids which best serve the interests of the Village.
