BERLIN CHARTER TOWNSHIP ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT Ord. No. 03-26   TO THE RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS OF BERLIN CHARTER TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY, MICHIGAN AND ANY OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS:   Public Notice is hereby given that the Berlin Charter Township Board held a second reading on February 9, 2026 and adopted Berlin Charter Township Zoning Ordinance Amendment No. 03-26 to amend Section 18-215, Storage Containers. A summary of the amendment appears below.   THE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF BERLIN ORDAINS:   Section 1. Title. This Section sets forth the title of the Ordinance.   Section 2. Amendment of Zoning Ordinance Section 18-215, Storage Containers. Berlin Charter Township Zoning Ordinance Section 18-215, Storage Containers is being amended to revise the requirements for storage containers.   Section 3. Repeal.This Section repeals any Ordinance in effect which is in conflict.   Section 4. Severability. This Section sets forth the provision that separates valid portions of the Ordinance from those portions that may be found to be invalid or unconstitutional.   Section 5. Effective Date. This Section provides that the Ordinance will be in full force and effect seven days after adoption and publication in a newspaper having general circulation in the Township.   Berlin Charter Township Zoning Ordinance Amendment No. 03-26 amending Section 18-215 Storage Containers is available for review at the Township Clerk’s Office at 8000 Swan View, Newport, Michigan 48166 during regular business hours. 2/13/2026
