PROPERTY AUCTION
The Town of Plainfield, the Moosup Fire District, the Plainfield Fire District, the Central Village Fire District, and/or the Wauregan Fire District have levied upon the following properties in Plainfield and slated them for public auction to satisfy delinquent taxes and charges under C.G.S. § 12-157. Volume and page numbers refer to the Town’s land records. Unless paid, these properties will be auctioned in “as is” condition at 10:00 a.m. on January 8, 2026 at the Plainfield Town Hall at 8 Community Avenue.
64 Black Hill Road (Volume 238 Page 319) owned by Leonce Bedard, owing $46,153.24.
73-75 Community Avenue (Volume 413 Page 21) owned by Keith A. Coolidge and John A. Coolidge, owing $2,664.47.
13 Simmons Avenue (Volume 541 Page 348) owned by Douglas A. Drisco, owing $894.10.
15 First Street (Volume 607 Page 135) owned by Marie Hannah, owing $11,220.80. Village Life Association, Inc. may have interests which will be extinguished by the sale.
214 Norwich Road a/k/a 214-218 Norwich Road (Volume 100 Page 139) owned by Marilyn M. Hart, owing $136,103.15.
±2.43 acres and ±2.54 acres on East Parkway (Volume 592 Pages 179 and 182) owned by Isaac Partners LLC, owing $17,819.93.
49-J Canterbury Road (Volume 483 Page 518) owned by Kountry Properties LLC, owing $9,272.90. The Connecticut Water Company and Cornerstone Place Condominium Association, Inc. may have interests which will be extinguished by the sale.
94 Community Avenue (Volume 610 Page 202) owned by Dean J. Mowry, owing $12,668.38.
Mobile home at 20 Erin Drive (Volume 253 Page 380) owned by George M. Swanson and Patricia E. Swanson, owing $3,809.54. James A. LaFleur; Plainfield Mobile Park; and MHVillage Inc. may have interests which will be extinguished by the sale.
The dollar amounts listed are through the end of last month. Additional taxes, interest, fees, and other charges authorized by law accruing after the last day of the month immediately preceding this notice are owed in addition to the amount indicated as due and owing in this notice.
Bidders must present $5,000 per property by certified check payable to “Pullman & Comley, Trustee” on the day of the sale, and the winning bidder must pay the balance of the sale price within 5 days or forfeit that deposit and the property.
