Notice of Public Hearings and Meetings
The Brewster Conservation Commission will hold Public Hearings under MA General Law Ch. 131, Section 40, Wetlands Protection Act (WPA), and the Code of the Town of Brewster Chapter 172, Brewster Wetlands Protection Bylaw (BWP Bylaw). This hearing will be conducted in person on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 6:00PM, 1st Floor, Brewster Town Hall, 2198 Main Street. This means that at least a quorum of the members of the public body will attend the hearing in person and members of the public are welcome to attend in person as well. As a courtesy only, access to the hearing is also being provided via remote means in accordance with applicable law. Please note that while an option for remote attendance and/or participation is being provided as a courtesy to the public, the hearing will not be suspended or terminated if technological problems interrupt the virtual broadcast or affect remote attendance or participation, unless otherwise required by law. Members of the public with particular interest in any specific item on this agenda, which includes an applicant and its representatives, should make plans for in-person vs. virtual attendance accordingly.

When required by law or allowed by the Chair, persons wishing to provide public comment or otherwise participate in the meeting, may do so by accessing the meeting remotely, as noted above.

The Brewster Conservation Commission will consider the following Notice of Intent submittal(s) for:
1709 Main St & 660 Lower Rd. Shady Knoll Realty LLC & Brewster Conservation Trust propose utilities relocation within riverfront area and the buffer zone to an inland bank and bordering vegetated wetland.
65 Governor Prence Rd. Dayle Jones
& William Nesbitt, Trustees, Revocable Trust Agreement of Dayle F. Jones propose vegetation management including vista pruning & native plant mitigation & replication within the buffer zone to bordering vegetated wetland, inland bank & land under water bodies and waterways: Cobbs Pond, a Great Pond.
The Brewster Conservation Commission will consider the following Request for Determination of Applicability submittal(s) for:
1268 Main St. Charles Van Buren proposes shed construction & invasive species removal in the buffer zone of a bordering vegetated wetland & inland bank. RDA 26-02.
