Public Notice Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection Water Management Program One Winter Street, 5th Floor Boston, MA 02108 (617) 292-5706 Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 21G and associated Regulations at 310 CMR 36.00, notice is hereby given of an Application for Water Management Act Permit for a withdrawal volume of 24 million gallons per year (mgy) annually (0.097 million gallons per day (mgd)) from one surface withdrawal point within the SuAsCo Basin. The withdrawal is in support of an existing a 18-hole golf course, located at 16 Gates Street in Framingham, Massachusetts. A copy of the application will be available for inspection in the Office of Mayor Charlie Sisitsky, City of Framingham, 150 Concord Street, Room 213, Framingham, Massachusetts 01702, between the hours of 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, between the hours of 8:30 AM and 7:00 PM on Tuesday, and between the hours of 8:30 AM and 12:30 PM on Friday. Written comments on the granting of a permit may be filed with the water resources management official(s) and the Department within 30 days of this notice's publication date. Any group of ten persons, any aggrieved person, or any governmental body or private organization with a mandate to protect the environment who submits written comments may appeal the Department's Certification. Failure to submit comments before the end of the public comment period may result in the waiver of any right to an adjudicatory hearing.
