NOTICE TO BIDDERS   Notice is hereby given that the Wyckoff Board of Education will be receiving sealed bids at the board offices located at 241 Morse Avenue, Wyckoff, N.J. 07481, for the Rooftop Unit Replacement in Guidance Suite at Dwight D. Eisenhower Middle School.   Bids must be submitted to the Wyckoff Board of Education no later than 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 19, 2026. All bids will be opened and read to the public at that time by the School Business Administrator at the Board Office. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days from the opening of the bids.   Bid Documents have been prepared by B | W | S Architects with an office located at 35 Waterview Boulevard, Suite 303, Parsippany, NJ 07054, telephone number (973)256-0202, email: kross@bws-architects.com. The bidding documents will be available on Friday, February 20, 2026. Prospective Bidders can preview and purchase the full bid package (cost $50.00) directly from the Architect’s website: www.bwsplans.com and shall be added to the official plan holder list. Any contractor submitting a bid must be listed on the official plan holder list. Any bid received from a contractor that is not a listed plan holder will be rejected. No documents shall be mailed, via US mail or overnight mail.   There will be a pre-bid meeting on 3:30 PM on Thursday, March 5, 2026. The Meeting will commence at Dwight D. Eisenhower Middle School located at 344 Calvin Court, Wyckoff, NJ 07481. All bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting.   All bidders must use and complete all bid forms and must comply with every requirement contained in the instructions and specifications. Bids are to be marked in a sealed envelope and delivered to Wyckoff Board of Education at 241 Morse Avenue, Wyckoff, N.J. 07481, with the name of the project, "Rooftop Unit Replacement in Guidance Suite at Dwight D. Eisenhower Middle School” plainly marked on the front of the envelope. Every bid must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00.   All bidders and their subcontractors shall be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. All bids must be accompanied by a Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act as to the Bidder and all subcontractors.   All bids must be accompanied by a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue. The Bidder must include with its bid its own Business Registration Certificate and that of all subcontractors.   Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:2-1 et seq., "The Law Against Discrimination" and Affirmative Action, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq.   This project is a school facilities project as defined in the Education Facilities Construction and Financing Act, N.J.S.A. 18A:7G-1 et seq. and may be funded in part with grant monies from the New Jersey Schools Development Authority (SDA). All contractors and subcontractors engaged by the Board to work on this project shall agree to be bound by the terms of a Grant Agreement issued by the SDA, which, if applicable, will be available for inspection at the Board Office during business hours.   No bidder who is on the State Treasurer's or the Federal Government's List of Debarred, Suspended or Disqualified Bidders shall be eligible to bid on this project.   The Wyckoff Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any minor informality in the bidding process in accordance with the law if it is in the best interest of the Board of Education. The contract, if awarded, shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements.
