Advertisement for Bids CITY OF CHIPLEY, FLORIDA City of Chipley Wastewater Improvements Project City of Chipley (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: City of Chipley Wastewater Improvements Bid No. 2026-02 Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services – No. 32604 DHM CHI25FD Bids for the mentioned Project will be received at the City of Chipley Administration Office located at 1442 Jackson Avenue, Chipley, FL 32428, until Thursday, March 11, 2026 at 3:00 PM local time. At that time, or shortly thereafter, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following Work: This project includes the replacement and upgrade of key mechanical and electrical equipment to improve system reliability, efficiency, and overall plant performance. The scope of work includes the following: Effluent Pumps and Motors: Replace two existing effluent pumps with new energy-efficient units 125 HP each to improve discharge capacity and reduce energy consumption.Blowers and Motors: Replace four existing blower units with high-efficiency models 75 HP each to enhance aeration performance and reduce power usage.Influent Pumps: Install three new submersible influent pumps 38 HP each to ensure reliable and energy-efficient wastewater handling.Reject Pumps and Motors: Replace two existing reject pumps with new energy-efficient units 20 HP each to improve waste stream management and lower operational costs.Filter Feed Pumps and Motors: Replace two filter feed pumps with high-efficiency models 5 HP each to optimize filtration performance.SBR Mixer Motors: Replace two existing Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) mixer motors with new energy-efficient units 30 HP each to improve mixing efficiency.High Mast Lighting: Retrofit existing high mast lighting with energy-efficient fixtures to reduce electrical usage and maintenance requirements. All work shall include equipment installation, integration with existing systems, testing, and commissioning to ensure proper operation.
