NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF COACHELLA PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Coachella will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at 1515 Sixth Street, Coachella CA 92236 to consider oral and written testimony regarding Architectural Review No. 25-08, for the proposed construction of twenty-four (24) self- help homes located at the southeast corner of Avenue 50 and Calhoun Street. Applicant: Coachella valley Housing Coalition (Pedro S. G. Rodriguez) The City of Coachella has determined that the proposed project is compliant with California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15073 - Public Review of a Proposed Negative Declaration or Mitigated Negative Declaration. The proposed project is to complete construction of the remaining infill lots within TTM 32074. Environmental Initial Study No. 04-06 was previously prepared and approved for the subdivision of approximately 38 acres into 155 single-family residential lots. No further environmental review is required for the development of the proposed infill lots to complete the remaining parcels within the subdivision.
