INVITATION TO BID 1.01 DESCRIPTION OF WORK A. The proposed work is officially known as "Limestone Township-Pool Painting Improvements". The project will involve painting of the pool. 1.02 SCHEDULE OF CONSTRUCTION A. Construction shall begin following bid approval. 1.03 TYPE OF BID A. Bids shall be made on a unit price basis. 1.04 TIME AND LOCATION FOR OPENING OF BIDS A. Sealed bids for the "Pool Painting Improvements" will be received by Limestone Township until 11:00 a.m. (prevailing time) on Tuesday July 14, 2026 at the Limestone Township Hall, 1501 W Garfield Avenue, Bartonville, IL 61607. B. All bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud at the above time and place. 1.05 EXAMINATION AND PROCUREMENT OF DOCUMENTS A. Project documents may be obtained by contacting Patrick N. Meyer & Associates, Inc at pmeyer@mtco.com in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders upon depositing the non-refundable sum of THIRTY DOLLARS ($30.00) per set. Electronic copies are available at no charge. 1.06 BID SECURITY A. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security shall be certified bank check or a bid bond. 1.07 RIGHT TO REJECT BIDS A. The Limestone Township reserves the right to waive irregularities and reject any or all Bids. Unless all Bids are rejected, award shall be made to the low, responsible Bidder after the Bid evaluation has been completed. 1.08 OTHER A.
