LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ): PHASE III ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR CEDAR STREET COMBINED SEWER OVERFLOW (CSO) UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK PEORIA, ILLINOIS STATEMENTS DUE: TUESDAY, JANUARY 27, 2026, AT 2:00 PM The City of Peoria invites qualified professional engineering firms to submit their Statements of Interest and Qualifications for Phase III engineering services for the Cedar Street Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Underground Storage Tank. The City of Peoria's Engineering Division will accept proposals until 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 27, 2026, for establishing a contract with a qualified firm. All interested firms are required sign up as a vendor on BidNet Direct to submit their proposals. The City's intention is to award a contract for these services to the best-qualified firm. Each firm will be considered and ranked by a Selection Committee based upon the criteria listed in the RFQ document. The evaluation criteria include Technical Approach, Firm Experience, Staff, Workload Capacity, and Local Presence and DBE Goals. Five (5) hard copies of the proposal should be submitted the Office of the City Engineer, 3505 N Dries Lane, Peoria, Illinois 61604 by the bidding deadline. The Request for Qualifications document and any other details of the project can be obtained at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/. All firms contracting with the City of Peoria must have current certification through the City's Equal Opportunity Office.Compliance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act is required under this contract. The City of Peoria reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technicalities and informalities in accordance with the Statute.
