NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING   TAKE NOTICE, that the Town Board of the Town of LaGrange will hold a public hearing at the Town Hall, 120 Stringham Road, La Grangeville, New York on March 18, 2026, at 7 o’clock, p.m., on Local Law No. __ of the Year 2026: “Public Sewer Connection Hardship Waiver”. The proposed local law would provide a waiver from the requirement that all houses, buildings or property used for human occupancy, employment, recreation or other purposes connect to a public sewer and creates a framework to grant an exemption from this requirement based on certain designated hardship criteria. The Town Board’s authority to issue a waiver under this Section is limited to properties located in residential Zoning Districts where the Principal Building is a single-family home as defined in Chapter 240 (Zoning).
