Town of York, Maine Invitation to Bid "Surface Preparation/Exterior Painting - Nubble Lighthouse Tower"   The Town of York is accepting Bid Proposals for surface preparation and exterior paiting work at the Nuble Lighthouse Tower, 11 Sohier Park Rd York, ME 03909. The work includes full surface preparation, priming and painting of entire lighthouse beacon. A full bid package can be picked up at the Parks and Recreation Office, on-line at www.yorkparksandrec.org or can be emailed upon request by calling 207-363-1040. All questions related to the bid specifications, requirements, dates, time of work, etc. shall be directed to Ryan Coite, Parks Foreman: (phone) 207-363-1040 or (email) rcoite@yorkmaine.org Bid proposals will be accepted until Monday June 15th, 2026, at 12:00 PM at York Town Hall, 186 York Street, York, Maine 03909. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the previously mentioned time and date in the upstairs conference room at Town Hall. Bid proposals shall be sealed and clearly labeled: "Surface preparation/Exterior Painting - Nubble Lighthouse Tower". Bids sent by facsimile will not be accepted. The Town reserves the right to reject all bid proposals and may choose to waive any discrepancies in the bid process.
