NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Kennebunk Light & Power District Propose Rate Increase Kennebunk Light & Power District ("KLPD" or the "District") hereby gives notice to its customers that it will file a request with the Maine Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") seeking approval to increase its delivery rate for electric service. A public hearing on this matter will be held as follows: Date: Wednesday, February 18, 2026 Time: 5:00 p.m. Location: KLPD's office, 4 Factory Pasture Lane, Kennebunk, Maine At this hearing, customers will have the opportunity to provide testimony, comments, and ask questions about the proposed rate change. On or before January 16, 2026, KLPD will post materials supporting the proposed rate increase on KLPD's website (www.klpd.org) and make such materials available at the District's office. Subject to Commission approval, the rate increase is proposed to take effect on April 1, 2026. KLPD seeks approval to increase its delivery rate by an amount not to exceed $2,108,396 annually, which represents a 14.32% increase in total operating revenues, or a 38.59% increase in delivery revenues. The proposed increase is necessary to recover the costs of operating and maintaining the electric system and to fund capital investments required to support customer growth and maintain system reliability. The percentage change and average monthly bill increase for each customer class is shown in the table below: Delivery Only - Effective 4/2026 Residential $9.19 25.66% Commercial $36.89 30.09% Industrial $1,527.13 37.64% The delivery charges set forth in the above table represent only a portion of a customer's total monthly electric bill.
