NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING COUNTY OF PRINCE GEORGE Notice is hereby given to all interested persons that the Prince George Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on May 12, 2026 beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room, Third Floor of the County Administration Building, 6602 Courts Drive, Prince George, Virginia, (located at the intersection of Laurel Springs Road and Courts Drive in the County Government Complex) pursuant to § 15.2-1427, Code of Virginia (1950), as amended, to consider:   Adoption of an Ordinance to amend “The Code of the County of Prince George, Virginia,” 2005, as amended, by amending Chapter 74 – Taxation, §§ 74-262 and 74-268 to amend land use application dates, fees, and revise dates for removal of parcels.   Adoption of an Ordinance to amend “The Code of the County of Prince George, Virginia,” 2005, as amended, by amending §§ 82-261, 82-262, 82-536, and 82-537 revising water and wastewater connection charges and user charges and rate block schedules as authorized by Virginia Code §15.2-2119. The proposed increase is 2.5% for all water charges and 8% for all waste water charges.   Adoption of an Ordinance to amend “The Code of the County of Prince George, Virginia,” 2005, as amended, by amending §2-2 and adding §38-39 to revise Development Application Review Fees for applications reviewed and/or project managed by the Planning & Zoning Department and to relocate Erosion and Sediment Control Fees from Chapter 2 to Chapter 38   A copy of the proposed Ordinances are available for review in the County Administrator’s Office Third Floor, County Administration Building, 6602 Courts Drive, Prince George, Virginia, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Any person requiring assistance to participate in the public hearing is asked to contact Teresa Knott, Clerk to the Board of Supervisors, in advance, so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
