NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF COLONIAL HEIGHTS, VIRGINIA Notice is hereby given to all persons affected or interested that at the Colonial Heights City Council meeting to be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, in Council Chambers of City Hall, 201 James Avenue, Colonial Heights, Virginia, the City Council shall hold a public hearing to accept comments on the following: AN ORDINANCE NO. 26-4 To adopt a revised General Pay Plan Class and Salary Range that adds new job titles including Accreditation & Training Specialist (Grade 15), Tourism & Events Coordinator (Grade 14), and Tourism & Events Specialist (Grade 13); removes the job titles for Tourism & Economic Development Specialist and Museum Curator; changes the Senior Automotive Mechanic job title to Automotive Mechanic; and adopts the corresponding job descriptions and class specifications for each new job title. A copy of the proposed ordinance is on file for public examination during regular business hours in the City Clerk's Office in City Hall, 201 James Avenue, Colonial Heights, Virginia; on the City's website www.colonialheightsva.gov; or may be received by calling the City Clerk at 804-520-9360. All persons affected or interested are invited to be present at the public hearing of the City Council, to be held at the time and place stated above, when an opportunity will be given for them to be heard.
