LEGAL NOTICE   The following are summaries of ordinances and resolutions adopted by Canton City Council on Dec. 1, 2025. Ave. S.W., Canton, Ohio 44702, during non holiday weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Resolution No. 230/2025 Council approves a Statement of Services to be provided to the property owners in the 3222 Bruening Ave. SW - 2025 Annexation Area, consisting of approximately 3.282 acres, in Canton Twp. Adopted as an emergency. Ordinance No. 231/2025 The Mayor or Service Director is authorized to enter into Change Order No. 2 and Final with Anser Advisory Management, LLC in an amount not to exceed $31,700 for the 11th St. SE Improvements Project – GP 1144 for Construction Inspection and Contract Administration. The Auditor is authorized to pay all moral obligations related to this change order or necessary to close out this project. Adopted as an emergency. Ordinance No. 234/2025 The Mayor or Service Director is authorized to enter into Change Order No. 2 and Final with Northstar Asphalt, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $66,818.87 for construction costs related to the 2024 City Paving Program, GP 1453. Council retroactively authorizes all actions taken for the furtherance of the project prior to the finalization of said amendment/modification. The Auditor is authorized to pay all moral obligations related to this change order. Appropriation Ordinance No. 55/2025 is amended by making the appropriation transfers of $250,000 from 2170 Engineering Admin to 2170 General Gov’t Admin and $75,000 from 5201 Distribution Maintenance to 5201 Gross Ave. Area Wtr. Main. Adopted as an emergency.
