NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ANNEXATION    Notice is hereby given to all interested parties that action is pending before Canton City Council to accept the annexation of territory known as The 4401 Tuscarawas St. W - 2025 Annexation, assigning same of the City of Canton, Type 2 Annexation.   The Planning Commission at its meeting on August 28, 2025 recommended assigning the 5.309 acre area of land located in Plain Township to the City of Canton. This will be an Expedited Type 2 Annexation.   The public hearing on the above will be held in the Canton City Council Chamber on February 23, 2026 at 7:00 P.M. during the regular City Council Meeting, which public hearing may be adjourned from one Council Meeting to another if Council deems this appropriate. Canton City Council shall provide reasonable accommodation to individuals with disabilities so that they may attend and participate in public meetings. To arrange for an accommodation, contact the Clerk of Council, (330) 489-3223, at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting.
