INVITATION TO BIDDERS FOR PREQUALIFICATION FOR LYON COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT SINGLE POINT OF ENTRY IMPROVEMENTS FOR DAYTON HIGH SCHOOL
Miles Construction is the Construction Manager at Risk for the Lyon County School District Single Point of Entry Improvements for Dayton High School and is seeking qualifications from subcontractors for all scopes of work for the project. To be eligible to provide labor, materials or equipment on this public work project, each subcontractor must be qualified pursuant to NRS 338.16991.
The project involves improvements to the existing Dayton High School to include a single point of entry within the school during the summer 2026 break. Work to include limited demolition to sidewalk, existing storefront, doors and windows, flooring, existing millwork and affected ceiling areas. Install new storefront systems, wall framing, check-in waiting areas, flooring and ceiling.
To be eligible to provide labor, materials or equipment on this public work project, each subcontractor must be qualified pursuant to NRS 338.16991.
Prequalification Due Date: Monday, February 23, 2026, 5:00 PM Notification to Prequalified Bidders: February, 2026. Plans will be available and issued to qualified subcontractors for bidding in March of 2026 with a March 2026 Bid Date. Start of Construction is June, 2026. Miles Construction requires that all subcontractors provide updated Prequalification Forms every two years. If you are unsure if your companies Prequalification Form is up to date, please contact our Estimating Department or Sarah Magrogan at Estimating@milesconst.com with any questions. NOTICE: Vendors, who will perform at least 1% of the estimated value of the work or $50,000 whichever is greater, must be qualified pursuant to NRS 338.16991 and NRS 338.16995. Proposals will be returned to the vendor unopened if the vendor has not been qualified per NAC 338.580.
