NOTICE OF FIRST HEARING ON REZONING APPLICATIONS
A public hearing will be held at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 7th, 2026 at the County Annex Building, 119 S. Barron St., Eaton, Ohio, by the Preble County Rural Zoning Commission regarding proposed rezoning applications. The following case is to be considered:
1. Case #1646. Steve Fox-Burkhardt Engineering, Agent for 204 East Street, LLC, submitted application to have approximately 5.124 acres, exclusive of road right-of- way, reclassified from Planned Highway Service & Agricultural to Highway Service District. The area of land sought to be reclassified contains approximately 696 feet frontage at the northeast corner of the intersection of US 40 W. (National Road) and US 127 N., Monroe Twp., Sec. 26, Preble County, Ohio, zoned Planned Highway Service and Agricultural. The proposal is to combine three parcels, as approved recently, into one parcel, and to expand the filling station adding additional pumps to service not only non-commercial, but commercial vehicles as well. As stated in the previous approval, the residential structures will be demolished.
