30-DAY PUBLIC NOTICE
GREAT LAKES MUSSEL RESTORATION PLAN
Indiana's Natural Resource Trustees hereby give notice to the public that a restoration plan has been prepared under the authority of the federal Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (43 U.S.C. 9601 et seq) for comment. This plan addresses freshwater mussel injury resulting from spills of oil and hazardous substances in the Indiana portion of the Lake Michigan watershed and proposes compensatory restoration measures throughout impacted portions of the Great Lakes watershed, in alignment with the Grand Calumet River/Indiana Harbor Canal Natural Resource Damage Assessment Restoration Compensation Determination Plan. The plan can be viewed on the Indiana Department of Environmental Management's website at https://www.in.gov/idem/public-notices/public-notices-all-regions/.
