NOTICE OF PASSAGE OF BILL 25-03 WORCESTER COUNTY COMMISSIONERS   Take Notice that Bill 25-03 (Zoning – Multi-family dwelling units in the C-2 General Commercial District) was passed by Commissioners Bertino, Elder, Fiori, Mitrecic, and Purnell on September 16, 2025.   A fair summary of the bill is as follows:   § ZS 1-210(b)(21). (Amends the Zoning and Subdivision Control Article to add a permitted use to allow detached multi-family dwelling units as an accessory use to a commercial development, provided at least sixty-five percent (65%) or more of the net lot area for a given parcel be developed with a commercial use or structure permitted in the C-2 District, and a minimum of 15% of open space be provided for the residential uses.)   This is only a fair summary of the bill.
