Summary:
This project will replace a critical 120+ year-old water transmission main that runs parallel to the CSX Railroad from Fernwood Forest Drive to MLK Jr. Drive. The existing pipe is severely deteriorated and difficult to access, threatening water service to large portions of the Village. The proposed project involves constructing a new 16-inch water main along a new, more accessible route. The design is fully complete and shovel-ready pending funding.

2. SW Osceola Street Water Main Replacement Project (Cost $2,750,000)
Summary:
This project addresses aging, undersized, and difficult-to-access water lines in a residential area between SW Osceola Street and SW 151st Street. The existing 2-inch galvanized pipe is over 50 years old and prone to failures.
