NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The City Commission of the City of Fort Pierce, Florida, pursuant to Section 125-37 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Pierce, and Sections 166.041 (3)(a) and 163.3187 of Florida State Statutes, will on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 5:05 p.m. hold a Quasi-Judicial Public Hearing on first reading and will on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 5:05 p.m. hold a second reading on the enactment of the proposed ordinance in the City Hall Commission Chambers, 100 North U.S. #1, Fort Pierce, Florida, to consider review and approval of the following:
ORDINANCE 25-035: AN ORDINANCE BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA; AMENDING THE CITY'S ZONING ATLAS AND REZONING TWO (2) PARCELS GENERALLY LOCATED AT OR NEAR 4945 EDWARDS ROAD, CONTAINING APPROXIMATELY 17.58 ACRES OF LAND, MORE OR LESS, FROM AN EXISTING PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) AND MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (R-4) TO PLANNED DEVELOPMENT (PD); APPROVING A MASTER PD SITE PLAN; APPROVING A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT ZONING AGREEMENT; PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ORDINANCES OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. ORDINANCE 25-036: AN ORDINANCE BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA; AMENDING THE CITY'S ZONING ATLAS AND REZONING TWO (2) PARCELS CONTAINING APPROXIMATELY 75.981 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, AND BEING LOCATED AT OR NEAR THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF OKEECHOBEE ROAD AND THE FLORIDA TURNPIKE AND APPROXIMATELY 1500 FEET SOUTH OF OKEECHOBEE ROAD IN FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA FROM (AG-1) SAINT LUCIE COUNTY AGRICULTURAL 1 DWELLING UNIT PER ACRE TO PLANNED DEVELOPMENT (PD); APPROVING THE GORDY CREEK PLANNED DEVELOPMENT ZONE WITH A MASTER DEVELOPMENT PLAN; APPROVING A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT ZONING AGREEMENT; PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ORDINANCES OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. All interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the Application(s). Said applications will be available for inspection in the City Clerk's Office, City Hall, 100 North U.S. Highway 1, Fort Pierce, Florida.
