NOTICE OF INTENT TO SEEK LEGISLATION TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: Notice is hereby given of intent to apply to the Florida Legislature, in the 2026 regular or any special or extended legislative sessions, for passage of an act relating to Martin County; repealing chapter 67-1702, Laws of Florida; abolishing the ability of the County to lien real or personal property for repayment of funds spent on behalf of indigent health care; amending chapter 65-1906, Laws of Florida as amended; revising the County Health Care Fund; providing a definition of indigent resident; repealing the County Health Care Review Board; repealing the County Health Care Review Board recommendation for disbursement of funds; providing an effective date.
