ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Lewis & Clark Regional Water System of Tea, South Dakota will receive bids for construction of the Building Maintenance – Phase 1 project. The Project is located at eight building sites in Southeast South Dakota. Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Lewis & Clark Regional Water System office located at 1800 Monty Street, Tea, SD 57064, until July 16, 2026 not later than 2:00 PM local time (our clock). At that time, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes a general description of the following Work: Pressure wash all exterior CMU walls. Replace joint sealants. Apply water repellant. And, Clean-up and all other miscellaneous work required, not herein mentioned, but inferred from the construction Contract Documents, complete and ready for use. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is Banner Associates, Inc., 409 22nd Ave. South, Brookings, SD 57006; phone (605) 692-6342. Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Thursday (8:00 am to 5:00 pm) and Friday (8:00 am to noon) and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Paper copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office by non-refundable payment of $53.00, including applicable taxes and fees, for each set of the Bidding Documents. Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Upon request, in accordance with South Dakota Codified Law 5-18B-1, one paper copy of Bidding Documents shall be furnished, without charge, to each prime contractor resident in South Dakota who intends, in good faith, to submit a bid to the Owner. Additionally, if a paper copy is provided under the conditions of SDCL 5-18B-1, in consideration of the documents being provided at no charge, unsuccessful bidders agree to return the documents to the Issuing Office within 30 days after the bid opening. A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on July 7, 2026 at 2:00 PM local time at the Lewis & Clark's Water Treatment Plant located at 31474 SD Highway 19 north of Vermillion, SD.
