College Avenue, Boiling Springs, NC 28152, until 3:00PM on Tuesday, October 7th, 2025, at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work includes the construction of approximately: Comprehensive Grading 1 LS Asphalt Pavement 95 TON Asphalt Pavement (Stamped and Colored) 185 SY Concrete Driveway/Walk 2477 SY Concrete Curb & Gutter 679 LF Asphalt Pavement Milling 2114 SY Pavement Marking 833 LF Brick Unit Paving 567 SF 4-8" Watermain 1894 LF Water Service Line 169 LF Trenchless Water Service 77 LF 12" RCP Storm Pipe 18 LF Seeding and Mulching 10072 SQFT Landscaping Plants 495 EA Traffic Signal Improvements 1 EA Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) 4 EA together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. Bidders must comply with the requirements of the State of North Carolina and be appropriately licensed as a General Contractor as provided in General Statutes Chapter 87. This project is subject to the following federal requirements: Equal Employment Opportunity Provisions, Responsible Contractor Certification, Non-Discrimination Certification, and Procurement Standards (2 CFR 200.317–327). In addition, the project encourages strong labor standards (including wages above prevailing rate), inclusive contracting practices such as Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goals, and Veteran-Owned Small Business engagement.
