Electronic Bids for the construction of CTH J Lift Station Replacement will be received by The Town of Sheboygan, Sanitary District No. 2, Sheboygan, Wisconsin, at the office of the Town Clerk, 4020 Technology Parkway, Sheboygan, Wisconsin 53083, until 2:00 p.m., Local Time on the 14th day of April 2026, at which time the Bids received will be opened and read aloud via an electronic teleconference meeting. Bids will only be accepted through QuestCDN.com via their electronic VirtuBidTM online bid service.
The Work of this Contract is generally described as installation of a new packaged lift station with emergency generator backup; gravity sewers, force main and water main along public right of way; demolition of below grade and above grade structures; modifications of site piping and site access; electrical; and instrumentation and control components.

Prospective bidders must download the documents from QuestCDN to allow access to the vBid online bidding system. Bidders will be charged a fee of $42 to submit a bid electronically.

LEGAL PROVISIONS: The Contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 60.47, 66.0901, and 779.15 of the Wisconsin statutes.
WAGE RATES: Prevailing wage rates are not required for this Project.
PRE-BID CONFERENCE: A pre-bid conference will be held prior to the Bid opening on April 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Town Hall conference room, 4020 Technology Parkway, Sheboygan, Wisconsin 53083, to familiarize Bidders with this Project.

BID SECURITY: Bid Security in the amount of not less than 5% of the Bid shall accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
CONTRACT SECURITY: The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in an amount equal to the Contract Price.
BID REJECTION/ACCEPTANCE: The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive informalities in bidding, or to accept the Bid or Bids, which best serves the interests of the Owner.
BID WITHDRAWAL: No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the scheduled opening of the bids without the consent of Owner.
