Legal Notice Notice is hereby given that on June 29th, 2026 that Bi-Petro, Inc. 3150 Executive Park Drive, P.O. Box 19246, Springfield, Illinois 62794-9246 will file an application with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, Office of Mines and Minerals, for a permit to drill the Patterson #5-SWD to a Class II water disposal well. The legal description of the proposed well is: 738 feet north and 415 feet east of the Southwest corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 28, Township 16 North, Range 3 West, Sangamon County, Illinois. Latitude 39.811981 Longitude -89.438367. Injection shall be confined to the Potosi Formation from 3,640' to 4,060'. The maximum injection pressure will be 1,200 P.S.I at a maximum rate of 6,000 barrels per day. The public has 15 days from the publication of the notice, as stated in the public notice, to comment on the application, and that comment must be made in writing to the Department.
