Public Notice Pursuant to the Surface Mining Conservation and Reclamation Act, Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Rules and Regulations and Clean Streams Law. Notice is hereby given that New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co., Inc., PO Box 77, New Enterprise, PA 16664, has made application to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to renew its noncoal NPDES permit PA 0262846 associated with the Bakersville Surface Mine Permit 56090301 which was issued on 06/01/2012 and will expire on 10/24/2026 in Jefferson Township, Somerset County. This request does not include any revisions. The permit area is 359.0 areas and is situated along Glades Pike Rd, approximately 10 miles West of Somerset, PA. A copy of the application is available for public inspection at the DEP, The Cambria District Office, Bureau of Mining and Reclamation, 286 Industrial Park Road, Ebensburg, PA 15931. Written comments, objections, and requests for public hearing or informal conference may be submitted to the DEP office listed above and must include the person's name, address, telephone number, and a brief statement as to the nature of the objection(s).
