NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING SWOFFORD CAREER CENTER SPARTANBURG COUNTY FISCAL YEAR 2026-2027 OPERATING BUDGET Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by Swofford Career Center at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, the 18th day of June 2026. The hearing will be held at the Swofford Career Center, which is located at 5620 Hwy. 11, Inman, South Carolina, 29349. As required by Section 6-1-80, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, as amended, the public is advised of the following: 1. The budget of Swofford Career Center for the current Fiscal Year calls for revenues of $4,412,455 and expenditures of $4,412,455. 2. The proposed budget of Swofford Career Center for Fiscal Year 2026-2027 calls for revenues of $4,447,293 and expenditures of $4,447,293. 3. The proposed revenues for the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 operating budget of Swofford Career Center represents a 0.79% increase in revenues from the operating budget for the current fiscal year. 4. Ad valorem property taxes in the amount of 7.8 mills were levied in the current Fiscal Year to meet operational needs of the Swofford Career Center. 5. The Swofford Career Center Board of Trustees estimates that ad valorem property tax revenue of $2,338,407 will be necessary to meet the revenues required by the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 operating budget of the Swofford Career Center. 6.
