The answer must be filed with the Clerk of the above-entitled Court at 206 West Tabernacle, St. George, Utah 84770, telephone number (435) 986-5700, and to serve upon or mail to Aaron D. Randall of Thompson, Randall and Mellen, P.C., Plaintiff's attorney, at 187 North 100 West, St. George, Utah 84770, a copy of said Answer within twenty-one (21) days of the last date of publication of this Summons. The underlying Amended Verified Complaint for Quiet Title addresses ownership of Water Right 81-1422 (hereinafter "Water Right") located in Washington County Utah. The Water Right is currently registered under the name of Lewis J. and Betty Slack Fish. This Water Right is currently being used and utilized by Plaintiffs. Yvonne Spendlove is one of the Plaintiffs. Yvonne Spendlove is the daughter of Lewis and Betty Fish. The domestic portion of the Water Right is currently registered under the name of Kim and Yvonne Fish Spendlove. The stock watering and irrigation portion of the Water Right is currently registered under the name of Lewis J. and Betty Slack Fish. Plaintiffs received conveyance of the property associated with the Water Right on April 23, 1996, December 7, 2010, and August 6, 2014. This Summons is intended for the legal heirs of Lewis J. and Betty Slack Fish to address any adverse ownership claim of the Water Right at issue in this matter. If you fail to do so, judgment by default will be taken against you for the relief demanded in said Amended Complaint, which was filed with the Court on February 12, 2026.
