REQUEST FOR BIDS - BANGOR AREA HIGH SCHOOL ROOF REPLACEMENT
The Bangor Area School District will receive sealed bids for the repairs to the Bangor Area High School at 187 Five Points Richmond Road. Work includes General Construction Roof Replacement Drawings are available on PennBid by end of day January 19, 2026.
Sealed bids will be received online via the PennBid Program until 10:00 A.M. prevailing time, Friday, February 20, 2026 at which time they will be opened. After bid opening the results will be available for viewing at the PennBid website. Successful bidder will be selected by Owner at a later date.
A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held virtually at 10:00 A.M. prevailing time on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at IOAM. A MANDATORY SITE VISIT WILL be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. prevailing time. The site visit will begin at the Bangor Area High School Main Office located at the address above. Questions will be accepted until 5:00 P.M., prevailing time, on Friday, February 13, 2026; questions will be accepted through PennBid, only from prime bidders. All questions must be submitted through PennBid and will not be accepted in any other manner.
ALL BIDDERS MUST REGISTER ON PENN BID PRIOR TO THE PRE-BID MEETING. ONCE REGISTERED AS A BIDDER AN EMAIL WITH A VIRTUAL MEETING LINK WILL BE FORWARDED AFTER THE REGISTRATION CUTOFF DATE ON January 27, 2026 AND PRIOR TO THE PRE-BID MEETING.

The apparent low bidder and the next two lowest bidders must submit, to the Architect, originals of the Bidding Documents within two (2) business days from the date of the bid opening.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the base bid. Performance Bond and a Labor Material and Payment Bond will be required from the lowest responsible bidders. This project is subject to the provisions of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
