JOSEPH COUNTY JAIL WASTEWATER SCREENING IMPROVEMENTS   General Notice Notice is hereby given that the St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners located in St. Joseph County, Michigan, hereinafter referred to as the (“Owner”), will receive sealed proposals for the construction of the following: St. Joseph County Jail Wastewater Screening Improvements herein referred to as the “Project”. Sealed Bid Proposals are invited and may be delivered or forward by registered mail, addressed to the St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners located at 125 W. Main Street, Centreville, MI 49032; Attn: Teresa Cupp, County Administrator, until 10:00 a.m. local time, on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026. Bids for the construction project (“Bids”) will be opened and publicly read aloud at a public meeting at 10:00 a.m. local time, on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026 at the St. Joseph County Historic Courthouse, Third Floor, located at 125 W. Main Street, Centreville, MI 49032. All interested citizens are invited to attend. Main Street, Centreville, MI 49032. All prime contractors; subcontractors; small, minority or women owned enterprises; and other interested parties are encouraged and invited to attend. The Owner reserves the right to reject any proposal for being unresponsive or deemed irresponsible, reject all proposals, or to accept the lowest responsive and responsible proposal/Bidder. Any proposal may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of proposals or authorized postponement thereof. Any proposal received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least ninety (90) days while final project approvals are finalized.
