THE STATE OF KANSAS TO ALL PERSONS CONCERNED:
You are hereby notified that at 9:00 AM on April 30, 2026, the Court will hear the Petition for Appointment of Administrator under the Kansas Simplified Estates Act filed in the above-captioned matter by Jessica Wiech, requesting that she be issued Letters of Administration under the Kansas Simplified Estates Act, to serve without bond, and to act as Administrator of the Estate of Vicki L. Schaefer, deceased. You are further advised that, under the provisions of said statute, the Court need not supervise administration of the Estate, and further notice of any action of the Administrator, or proceedings herein, will not be given, except for notice of final settlement of Decedent's Estate. You are further advised that if written objections are filed in this case, the Court may order that supervised administration ensue. You are required to file any written defenses to the Petition at or before the time and date stated above, in Division 12 of the Third Judicial District Court in Shawnee County, Kansas, at which time and place this cause will be heard. Should you fail to file such written defenses, judgment and decree will be entered in due course upon the Petition. All creditors are hereby notified to exhibit their demands against the Estate within four months from the date of first publication of this notice, as provided by law. If such demands are not thus exhibited, they will be forever barred.
