Project Description:
The Ventura Water Reclamation Facility (VWRF) Membrane Bioreactor (MBR)/Ultraviolet Disinfection Upgrade Project (Project) will replace aging and deficient infrastructure, improve tertiary treated water quality, and become the first treatment components of a planned potable reuse treatment facility. The tertiary treated water from the Project will be directed to new indirect potable reuse treatment (with potential for future direct potable reuse); existing non-potable reuse; regulated continued discharge limit to the Santa Clara River Estuary(SCRE); and flows to the ocean outfall.
