NOTICE INVITING BIDS   NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the BARSTOW COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT of San Bernardino County, California, acting by and through its Governing Board, will receive sealed bids for the award of a contract for:   Barstow Parking Lot Restoration - #BCC2603 Bid Deadline – Tuesday, November 11, 2025 @ 2:00 p.m.   Prospective bidders may secure construction documents at https://www.barstow.edu/aboutbcc/administrative services/facilities-construction/bidsprojects.   Sealed bids will be received at Barstow Community College, Administration Building A; 2700 Barstow Road, Barstow, California 92311, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at which time said bids will be opened and read aloud.   All bids shall be made and submitted on the bid form furnished by the District. Each bid must conform with and be responsive to all pertinent bidding and contract documents, copies of which are on file and may be obtained from the office of Facilities Construction or on the webpage https://www.barstow.edu/aboutbcc/administrative services/facilities-construction/bidsprojects.   Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Form, Bid Bond, Subcontractors List, Proof of registration with the Department of Industrial Relations by both contractor and proposed subcontractors pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Certification of Workers’ Compensation, and Agreement and Certification of Drug-Free Workplace. A payment bond and performance bond will be required prior to the execution of the contract. The District reserves the right to reject, as non-responsive, any bid submitted without these forms completed. The District also reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities in any bid. There will be no engineers estimate available.   Labor Compliance Notice: Bidders are advised that this Contract is a public work for purposes of the California Labor Code, Section 1720 et seq., which requires payment of prevailing wages.   A Mandatory Pre-Bid Job Walk is scheduled for Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. beginning at the Barstow College Administration Building A. Bids without representation on the job walk sign-in sheet will not be accepted.
