NOTICE OF QUASI-JUDICIAL HEARINGS
NEW HANOVER COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

Notice is hereby given that the New Hanover County Board of Adjustment will hold quasi-judicial hearings on March 24, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the New Hanover County Government Center, 230 Government Center Drive, Room 139, Wilmington, North Carolina, to consider the following:
Case BOA-1001 – Blair Deen, applicant, on behalf of Novant Health, property owner, is requesting a variance from the maximum sign area and height requirements for freestanding signs from Section 5.6.2.B of the New Hanover County Unified Development Ordinance. This property is zoned O & I, Office and Institutional and is located at 151 Scotts Hill Medical Drive. This item was continued from the February 24, 2026 meeting.
Case BOA-1002 – Lee A. and Mildred E. Hershner, applicants and property owners, are requesting a variance from the minimum street side yard setback requirement from Section 3.2.9.D.3 of the New Hanover County Unified Development Ordinance. The property is zoned R-10, Residential and is located at 131 Springhill Road.
